Sandra Morgan
For more than 25 years, Sandra Morgan has been a leading designer in the Connecticut and New York interior design communities. Luxury design publications such as House Beautiful, Design Times, Connecticut Cottages and Gardens, Greenwich Magazine, New York Spaces and Vero Beach Magazine have featured her work and she is regularly invited to participate in prestigious show house events.Sandra has loved art and antiques since childhood.

After graduating from Connecticut College, cum laude, with a BA in Art History, she took editorial positions at House & Garden and Mademoiselle, where she created the decorating column Chez Mademoiselle. She later established her interior design firm, art gallery and retail shop for Swedish antiques and fine home furnishings. Much like her design aesthetic, SM Home emanates an urbane, traditional style with touches of modernism throughout. Her knowledge and passion for art resulted in collaborations with galleries in NYC and inspired her to establish an art gallery housed within the same charming building as her design firm. Sandra raised her family in Greenwich and now resides with her husband in Darien.

Her grandmother was a prominent interior designer, her father was vice president of home furnishings at Saks Fifth Avenue and her mother is company founder of Sandra Morgan Interiors. As a buyer for major retail stores, she was responsible for multi-million dollar projects, which has given her a broad business background to allow her to effectively manage timelines and budgets for her clients interior design projects.

Laird graduated with honors from Middlebury College and spent the next 14 years in the New York fashion world, with executive positions at Saks Fifth Avenue, Henri Bendel and Victoria’s Secret.
